This universal privacy policy applies to all digital products, browser extensions, WebAR experiences, web applications, and web services created and maintained by Mike Sedov (Lens4Web Studio).

• No personal data collection: We do not require, collect, or store personal identifiers, accounts, email addresses, or phone numbers to use our tools or extensions.
• No data selling or brokers: We never sell, rent, monetize, or disclose any user information to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.
• No covert tracking: We do not employ user fingerprinting, tracking pixels, or invasive background telemetry.
• Local-first architecture: Wherever state or preferences are needed, they reside exclusively on your local device.

3. WebAR, Camera & Virtual Try-On Experiences

Lens4Web specializes in Augmented Reality (WebAR), 3D graphics (WebGL / Three.js), and AI Virtual Try-On (VTO) technologies.

• Real-Time In-Memory Processing: When you grant camera permission for a WebAR try-on (such as glasses, makeup, hats, or jewelry), the video feed is processed 100% on-device in your browser’s temporary memory (via WebAssembly / WebGL / MediaPipe / Snapchat Camera Kit).
• No Images or Videos Stored or Transmitted: We never record, upload, capture, or stream camera frames, facial geometry, or biometric measurements to any external server.
• Immediate Cleanup: Camera access ceases immediately when the browser tab is closed or when camera access is revoked in browser settings.

4. Lens4Web Website & Inquiries

Policies regarding visits to lens4web.com and related domains:

• No Advertising Cookies: lens4web.com does not use commercial tracking cookies, advertising identifiers, or cross-site tracking.
• Privacy-Preserving Analytics: We utilize Umami, a self-hosted, lightweight analytics engine that does not use cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, anonymizes IP addresses, and is fully GDPR and CCPA compliant.
• Contact Inquiries: If you submit an inquiry through our portfolio form, the submitted details are processed solely to respond to your specific request and are never shared or added to mailing lists.

5. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

Our static websites and project assets are hosted on high-reliability infrastructure (Cloudflare, GitHub Pages, or dedicated Nginx servers).

• Transient Network Logs: Server hosting infrastructure automatically processes standard HTTP request headers and IP addresses strictly for real-time routing, security mitigation (DDoS defense), and content delivery. These logs are managed under strict infrastructure security standards and are not linked to individual profiles.
• External Links: Our website and portfolio contain links to external third-party platforms (such as GitHub, LinkedIn, and Upwork). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.

6. Data Security & User Control

• Zero Risk of Data Breach: Because our applications and extensions do not collect or store personal data on remote databases, your personal information cannot be leaked or compromised from our servers.
• User Deletion & Control: You have complete control over all local data. To delete all stored preferences from an extension, simply click “Clear data” in the extension options or uninstall the extension from your browser.

7. Your Rights & Global Compliance

Our zero-data model inherently complies with global privacy legislation:

• GDPR (European Union): You retain all rights regarding data access, erasure, and portability. Since we hold no personal data, no data profiling takes place.
• CCPA / CPRA (California, USA): We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by California law.
• COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy): We do not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions).
